**Dear Clients, Please note that while we typically offer a large fenced yard, we are currently residing in an apartment until September as we await our new home. In the meantime, our community provides access to a fenced dog park, as well as several nearby walking trails for regular exercise and outdoor time. Thank you for your understanding.** Our love of dogs goes back as far as we can remember! Between the two of us, we have decades of experience working with, fostering, and caring for pups of all kinds. Kara’s first job at 15 was at a boarding facility, and over the years she has developed a passion for dog training as a hobby, enjoying the process of teaching new skills and building trust with every pup she works with. Jake grew up surrounded by animals and has spent years caring for friends, family, and clients’ pets—he’s also an avid runner who loves taking a four-legged buddy along for extra exercise and adventure. Together, we have fostered and placed over 50 dogs in loving homes. As a team, we offer the perfect balance of attention, structure, and affection that every dog deserves. Whether your dog is young or old, perfectly trained or a little rough around the edges, we know how to make them feel comfortable and part of our pack. We both work remotely, so there’s always someone home to keep your pup company during the day. Dogs are welcome to hang out by our sides while we work and snuggle up at night. Our schedules are flexible, making it easy to accommodate most routines and requests. We make sure every dog gets a proper, stress-free welcome. New arrivals are given time to sniff around and settle in at their own pace before meeting our dogs in a controlled and safe way. Our home has a large fenced yard for playing fetch and getting out extra energy, plus comfy dog beds and crates for rest time. Walks happen twice a day, and to ensure safety, we always feed our dogs separately from guest dogs. With both of us caring for your pup, they’ll get extra love, attention, and playtime!

Chip had a great time at Kara's house! He loved playing with the other dogs, especially her foster puppy, and enjoyed their fenced in yard and toys. Kara was very responsive for scheduling both our meet and greet and stay, and her extensive experience fostering dogs gave me total confidence in her care. We would absolutely use Kara again!

Schedule
SCHEDULE We both work remotely, which means there’s almost always someone home to give your pup plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Our schedules are flexible, allowing us to accommodate most routines. Boarding is available on weekends and weekdays, and we’re happy to discuss any special timing needs to make sure everything works smoothly for you and your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a large fenced yard where pups can safely play and explore, along with two friendly resident dogs to keep them company. We use gates throughout our home to create separate spaces when needed, giving dogs the option for alone time or a calm environment. If crating is part of your pup’s routine, we can easily accommodate that as well. All introductions are done slowly and safely to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone.

WHAT TO EXPECT We love to keep pups engaged both physically and mentally! A typical day includes plenty of playtime in our fenced yard, stimulating walks around the neighborhood, and trips to a nearby park for new sights and smells. We also incorporate mental enrichment activities like snuffle mats, puzzle feeders, and interactive games to keep their minds sharp and happy. Between adventures, there’s plenty of cuddle time and relaxation indoors. With both of us caring for your dog, they’ll enjoy a well-rounded day full of love, activity, and comfort.
