Availability
I do work a full-time job- 35 hours per week. For overnight pet sitting, I am more than happy to sleep there and continue my normal work schedule during the day. I am an early riser so I am more than able to house sit/walk/drop in early in the morning 5am-9am and after work 5:30-11pm or later if needed! I am pretty much completely free for whatever on the weekends!

Safety, trust & environment
I would treat every dog like I treat my own. Learn what makes them most comfortable, observe and take note of their triggers (if any), get to know their schedule (i.e. sleep, eat, bathroom, special accommodations) while being super attentive, and of course shower them with love!
Information Kara D. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if you have any specific requests, I will be more than happy to accommodate! I love a well thought out, organized schedule or list!
A typical day
The dog park is always a must or just a nice long walk (or short!) down a scenic trail. I love Emerson Point in Palmetto! Stopping for a pup cup is always a fun option as well!

Pet care experience
I have always loved being a caretaker for anyone's pup. I am the one person in a room full of people searching for the dog on the floor. I begged for my own for as long as I can remember. My parents finally caved when I was 14 and got my brother and I a dog! Her name was Maddie and she was a 3 year old chocolate lab. She had some health problems and would occasionally have seizures, but we loved her with everything we had. My family and I learned everything we could to keep her healthy and happy; from medication to calming techniques. And that is what we did for the next 7 years! When Maddie passed in 2021, we could not shake the feeling of not having that puppy energy around us and not having something to take care of. We got Cece, a golden doodle puppy in January 2023. Learning to care for a new puppy has been a very tough, yet enlightening experience. It has made me want to care for other little AND big pups as well! I am able to feed, bathe, brush, walk, run, swim, play, basically anything!
Reviews
Very friendly and communicated well with us. Sent pictures to my wife and was a very good sitter. Would highly recommend.
