I’ve spent the last 15 years caring for my own dog, Oscar, who is nearly 15 years old, as well as helping friends, family, and neighbors care for their pets, including cats. Oscar is in his senior dog era, so I am knowledgeable and empathetic to what senior dogs may need. As a teacher, I am dependable, patient, and attentive to detail. My schedule also allows me to be especially flexible during the summer to meet you and your pet’s needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing on the couch, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and personalized care. I understand that pets are family, and I’ll treat yours as if they were my own.

I will treat both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. You can count on regular updates, photos, and open communication so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My camera roll is probably 90% pictures of my dog, Oscar, so it’s safe to say I love sharing updates and photos while you’re away!

Kara is an amazing caregiver! She has watched our two dogs for us on many occasions and they have always been well taken care of. She always sends us cute pictures of them and gives them lots of love and attention. Any animal is in good hands with Kara!

Harmonogram
As a teacher, I have a flexible schedule during the summer and am available throughout the day to provide attentive care for your pets. During the school year, I am available after work, on weekends, holidays, and school breaks. I understand the importance of consistency and will work with you to maintain your pet’s routine as closely as possible.
