I am a stay at home mom to a little boy who was born in March of 2024. My husband, son, and I live in Interlochen. I am an empathetic person who thrives around animals and the outdoors. I love dogs and really every type of animal there is, and am always looking for extra pet love in my life! I have over 14 years of experience caring for dogs and other animals. I look forward to meeting you and your dog (or other fur babies!) For drop-ins and walks: I ask that you only request if you are comfortable with me bringing my son along. He often comes with and is worn in a carrier on my back. He has his lifetime of experience with pets of all kinds and is always respectful. Our son is never left alone with any pets and we always take every available safety precaution. It’s also important to note that I often deny requests for visits after 6pm. For overnight stays: my husband, Jared, is available for overnight pet sitting in your home. We have offered this service on and off for over 3 years. He is often available for pet sitting!

Kara and her husband, Jared, were AMAZING to work with! I booked them to care for my Staffy pup while I was away wedding dress shopping for my sister. It was my first time using any type of dog sitting service since I adopted my sweet girl, so I was pretty nervous. Kara and Jared reached out to me before hand to set up a meet-and-greet, which was great because I got to meet them and see how she was with them. I noticed immediately how at ease she was with them, so it left me feeling very reassured that I had picked the right people. They also made sure to check in with me regularly during my trip and sent pictures so I wasn't so worried about her. For a first time experience, it was perfect! Thanks Kara and Jared for watch Ms.McStuffins!
Kara did a great job taking care of our two 7-year-old cats while we took the family on vacation. She was consistent with her communication, kept us posted on how the cats were doing, and even tidied up before we got home. We would definitely have her care for our cats again in the future.

Kara is fantastic! She responded to a very last minute request for our rambunctious young puppy and absolutely did not disappoint. Her communication, punctuality and compassion really made her stand out. First time Rover user here, and could not be more grateful we found Kara. Thank you!
Appropriate care to the cats, but not able to be responsible to show up in poor winter weather repeatly. He texted when wanted to cancel. I called back shortly after and voice mail was full.
