My name is Kara, I am a fourth year Economics student at UVA. My family has had pets since I was really young so I have always loved caring for animals. I have experience pet sitting and walking dogs from my friends and family for the past few years but have always been familiar with general practice caring for animals. I’ve looked after both small and very large dogs so I’m comfortable working with either, I don’t have as much experience with cats but have looked after them in the past and would be happy to do so again if needed. I am available for walks, short visits, and open to other opportunities as they arise. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Kara took excellent care of Rocket while I was away for a few days. Leaving a pet is always tough, however, Kara put my mind at ease.
Kara has watched my 3 year old chocolate lab many times in the past. From overnight weekend trips to quick walks during the day she always does a great job and provides us with lots of pictures and updates throughout his stay.
