I have a fenced yard and a friendly mature dog with lots of energy so if it works out for both of us, I can provide day care in my home. I will follow any specific care instructions you have for your fur babies. I have crate trained all my dogs so I'm comfortable with crating if you wish.

A typical day

A typical day depends on the season. In the summer, I get up and drink coffee on the deck while the dogs play in the yard. I garden for a little while, we go for our usual 4.5 mile loop walk. Then we either find a Sniffspot or go hiking before it gets too hot. Then we go to a brewery and head home for a cool treat and nap!

I would love to know details about how the dogs react on leash to other dogs. How active they are, likes, dislikes, special needs, medications, favorite toys or treats, allergies. If they are good in public settings, where I can take them on walks. If cars rides are okay. If they are crate trained or allowed to be left out in the house. Any specific quarks in behavior or routes in the neighborhood that should be avoided. How they are around children, other people, dogs, cats, etc. I’d love to know if they are escape artists, should I watch the doors? Anything that startles them or spooks them?
