Plays with your dogs when you can't
I love dogs and can't wait to get my own one day (settled for just 2 cats for now) but until then, I'm here to help others take care of their pups and kittens! I have been dog sitting since I was 16 for many friends and family. Now I am working as an a basketball coach and looking for a little extra work. I'm looking for new families in the area that need assistance and I am available in the morning and evenings on weekdays and free most weekends. I love well-behaved high energy dogs that want to play and go for walks but can definitely cuddle up with a couch potato. I'm trustworthy, reliable, and will be patient with your dogs.

I try to spend as much time as possible with my pets at home whether it is snuggles or trimming their nails. I want my pets to feel love and know that they can trust me so we have a deeper bond.

Kanika is very welcoming and warm to all animals. She even managed to win over our extremely shy kitten. She is easy-going and very accommodating.

Kanika was a such wonderful dog sitter! She took excellent care of our two standard poodles and sent us daily updates with pics. She was attentive to all our instructions and was very responsive to texts/calls. We would definitely use Kanika again to dog sit, our dogs loved her! Our house was also in perfect shape when we got back from our trip as well. Kanika rocks!

Kanika is a warm and witty woman who inspires absolute confidence. Our pets — a once-feral cat and a MinPin Chihuahua — are adorable to us, of course, but we know they can offer challenges to newcomers. Kanika handled the bossy little dog and the shy cat with aplomb and when we returned, we found our pets calm and happy. She also sent us very cute photos! Kanika was a caring, friendly, responsive and responsible house sitter and we will happily contact her again. And -- almost forgot! -- she had to deal with a storm-related power outage during her stay at our house. She let us know about the situation without an ounce of drama and let us know when the lights came back on again.
