Hi, my name is Kanelya and I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! I have been taking care of animals for over 14 years and have a wealth of experience in training and caring for a wide variety of pets. I am also the proud mother to a chihuahua, hamster and several birds, and have learned a ton from my personal experiences as well! I am currently a part-time morning student who is able to work from home and set my own schedule—so when booking with me your pup will never be left alone for long periods at a time! I love being able to meet other dog lovers like myself and have enjoyed the opportunity Rover has given me to build upon prior communications skills, responsibilities and emotional development. My clients love the fact that I am an empathetic, energetic and caring sitter who takes the care of their animals seriously—while still having fun! I aim to be an extension of their family who they can count on in a pinch, regularly throughout the week, or when they need a break. I provide excellent customer service for my clients by responding to them quickly and professionally, and proactively anticipating any concerns they might have before they even ask! I work hard to make sure every dog in my company is happy and secure by prioritizing exercise and play, rewarding good behavior with positive affirmations and always communicating in a calm and sweet tone. I also have experience with anxious pups and know how to take my time getting to know those who might be a bit more nervous or insecure around new people.
