What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for pets with a wide range of medical and emotional needs. I currently care for a 14-year-old dog with anxiety, and I also have a 10-year-old dog with a severe protein allergy and other health issues, so I understand how important it is to be consistent, detail-oriented, and extremely careful with diet and routines. I’m very attentive to instructions and take health conditions seriously to keep pets safe and comfortable. I have experience with senior pets, anxious animals, puppies, and multi-pet households, and I adjust my care based on each pet’s personality and needs. I also have veterinary office experience, which has helped me feel confident supporting basic medical care and recognizing when something is off. I’m patient, calm, and reliable, and I prioritize making pets feel secure in their own environment. Along with dogs and cats, I also care for reptiles, birds, fish, and farm animals like chickens and ducks, which reflects my ability to handle a variety of care routines responsibly.

I follow each pet’s specific feeding, walking, litter, and medication schedule exactly as instructed, and I always take time to understand their personality, triggers, and comfort level before care begins. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I have experience working in a veterinary setting, so I’m comfortable noticing changes in behavior, handling medical needs like insulin or blood sugar checks, and responding calmly if an issue arises. I also have experience with a wide range of animals, including cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, fish, and farm animals, so I’m confident managing different care environments responsibly. I keep communication open with regular updates and photos so pet owners feel reassured while they’re away. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and secure, and make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m a teacher, so during the school year I work weekdays until 3:30 PM, which allows me to provide evening visits, overnight care, walks, feedings, medications, and lots of attention after work. I also have weekends, holidays, school breaks, and summers off, giving me much more flexibility and availability during those times. I’m used to maintaining routines and schedules, which helps pets stay comfortable and cared for while their owners are away.

- It’s important for me to know ahead of time about any behavioral concerns such as aggression, anxiety, escape risk, or resource guarding so I can plan the safest and most comfortable care possible for each pet. I always take time to learn each pet’s triggers, boundaries, and routines so I can approach them in a calm and respectful way that builds trust. I also want pet owners to know that I have a pet-savvy daughter who occasionally accompanies me during visits. She is calm, gentle, and experienced around animals, and I always make sure her presence is appropriate based on each pet’s comfort level and the owner’s preferences.
