My schedule is highly flexible and open most days and times—aside from Saturday and Sunday morning Mass. I deeply respect your home and privacy and will follow all instructions for your pets and property without issue. Whether caring for your pets in your home or welcoming them into mine, their safety and comfort come first. My home features a fenced backyard, separate levels for quiet time if needed, and kennels for flexible arrangements. I have two friendly dogs of my own (a Bernedoodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) who love making new friends and providing companionship during stays. I prepare healthy homemade treats like dehydrated fruit and jerky, and I’m experienced managing picky eaters and sensitive stomachs.

Hello, I’m Kandis, a lifelong Steubenville local with a deep love for animals. Growing up with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, and even farm animals, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, and life stages, from playful puppies and the ‘terrible twos’ to senior companions who need gentle care. I love how pets enrich our lives. Whether it’s daily dog walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, or medication reminders, I treat every pet like my own, with the patience and affection they deserve.

Kandis did an amazing job at taking care of our dogs Theo and Bama. She played with them, groomed them, and provided us with plenty of pictures and videos, that it felt like we were still with our fur babies. If you need a pet sitter we highly recommend Kandis!
Kandis was phenomenal! She came for a meet & greet the day before and was beyond patient with our 7 month old puppy that is beyond energetic. She kept me updated with both of our dog and provided photos through the app. We will most definitely be booking with her again- thank you so much for helping our family & loving our pups while we were gone!
Kandis did a wonderful job with my fur baby. She stayed in my home and my dog loved her. She walked him and took lots of pictures for me. I will definitely have her come back and sit with Emri when I’m looking for a dog sitter.
We booked at the last minute and Kandis could not have been more accommodating. She was so sweet to our.girl Tia. If we are in Steubenville again, we will definitely book with Kandis and let Tia come play.
