I am a loving, passionate dog mom of one senior Chihuahua mix named San Diego de San Nicolas del Puerto. He loves company and alone time as much as any human. Lol! Before I was blessed with Diego, I enjoyed boarding a variety of small/medium/special needs dogs for friends. All of the dogs receive the same spoiled experience. They drink filtered water and sleep on memory foam mattresses. They can lounge on the sofa and snuggle in the pillows or relax on any one of the dog beds positioned around my house. They can sunbathe outside, play with toys from the toy boxes or I can play their favorite game with them inside. I cater to any of your dog's special needs. Just let me know! My goal is to make your dog feel just as loved and special as they do in their own home.

Kandice is a saint! My kitty loved her stay so much that she barely wanted to come home (lol)! The updates and photos were perfect and gave me so much peace of mind while I was out of town for almost 3 weeks! So grateful for her and highly recommend her for your pet care!

It’s been awhile since I’ve used Rover, my old sitter relocated out of state. After doing some research to find a new one I came across Kandice’s profile and immediately felt it would be a good fit, and I was right! Foxy absolutely loved her and I got lots of cute pictures and updates throughout the stay. Will definitely be using her as my primary Rover sitter going forward and would recommend her to anyone.

Schedule
I take the dogs on walks in the morning and outdoor play in the afternoon. We have dinner in the early evening and an evening walk before bed.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a townhome to be specific, so we welcome dogs that enjoy a cozy indoor space and intimate yard play space. I do not have a fenced in yard so playtimes are on leash.

A typical day
Each day, your dog will enjoy two walks a day around the neighborhood, indoor play with toys as well as supervised outdoor play with Diego and me. We usually end the day with lots of cuddles on the couch.

- I am highly selective and do require a Meet-and-Greet before booking so please make your request at least 1 week in advance of your booking date. Before your arrival, please let me know the following: 1. Does your dog have any special medications or accommodations? 2. I work outside of the home and dogs are separated when I'm not there. Does your dog do well in a crate, bedroom, etc.? 3. I provide crates, bowls, leashes and toys unless your dog prefers his/her own. Please bring a blanket (or something that smells like home), food, treats and collars/harnesses (I can provide these as well). 4. Please make sure that your pet has a flea/tick solution before boarding. We look forward to a wonderful stay with your pet.
