Over the past five years, I have taken care of cats and dogs for my friends. I understand how important it is to ensure your pets are well taken care of and their needs are met especially when you are away. You can have a peaceful trip or focus on your tasks without worrying about your pets not being looked after. I am committed to providing the best care possible for your furry friends.

If house-sitting, I will be reading the notes carefully for care left by the owner and make sure I can identify all the items needed for care. I will greet the pet and make sure they are comfortable with me. Once a relationship is established, I will ensure the needs are met, by walking, playing, and feeding are fulfilled and the pet is comfortable and content while their parent(s) are away. If I am just walking a pet. I will read the care notes to make sure I will meet the needs or have an understanding of the preferences of the pet regarding walks. I will make sure we are walking on safe paths and following the traffic regulations. Also, make sure the pet is comfortable and enjoying their walk.

Kandice is a fantastic dog- and house-sitter! She and our dog, Willow, had an immediate rapport. I felt very comfortable leaving on our trip knowing that Willow was in such capable hands. Every day (sometimes twice a day), Kandice sent pics to show me what they were doing. It was great to see Willow so busy and happy in our absence. We returned to a home that looked exactly as it did when we left and to a very happy, healthy, and excited dog. I would definitely have Kandice stay again.
