I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone. My days are built around flexibility — morning walks, midday play, afternoon lounging, and evening wind-downs are all part of the routine. Your pup will have a consistent, attentive presence throughout the entire day, every day of their stay. I'm available for boarding 7 days a week, and because I'm always on the property, last-minute needs and extended stays are never a problem. Whether your trip is a quick weekend getaway or a longer vacation, your dog will have the same loving, supervised care from check-in to pickup.

Your dog's safety is my top priority from the moment they arrive. I'm trained in pet first aid and know how to recognize and respond to health concerns quickly and calmly. Because I work from home and am present on the property all day, your dog is never unsupervised outdoors — every outside time is accompanied and attentive. Our large acreage property is open and natural, which means dogs enjoy real freedom to roam, sniff, and explore — always with me by their side. For pet parents who prefer a crate or have a dog that feels more secure in one, I'm happy to accommodate that with advance notice. I'll always follow your care instructions to the letter and communicate any concerns promptly. You'll receive regular photo updates throughout your dog's stay so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and in good hands.

A typical day starts with a morning explore across our acreage — plenty of fresh air, new smells, and open space to stretch their legs. Throughout the day your pup will have free roam of the property, belly rubs on demand, and as much or as little activity as suits their personality and age. For more energetic dogs we'll play fetch, go on walks through the tropical surroundings, and burn off that island energy. For senior dogs or those who prefer a slower pace, we keep things gentle — quiet companionship, easy strolls, and lots of cozy rest time. Living on Hawaii's Big Island means every day outside is genuinely beautiful — birdsong, warm breezes, and lush greenery that most dogs back on the mainland could only dream of. Your dog won't just be watched — they'll be on a little Hawaiian vacation of their own.
