I have over 6 years of experience working with dogs, including hands-on experience as a dog trainer. Through that work, I developed a strong understanding of canine behavior and body language, which allows me to create a calm, structured, and safe environment for every dog in my care. One area I’m especially passionate about is working with dogs who need a little extra understanding. I have experience with reactive dogs, dogs who are nervous around new people, and dogs who may struggle with other dogs. My passion for this really comes from my personal experience with rescue dogs. I had a German Shepherd rescue who was reactive and difficult for others to handle, and finding someone trustworthy to watch him was nearly impossible. I remember always wishing there was someone out there who truly understood dogs like him — someone who could read his behavior, respect his boundaries, and care for him confidently. That experience is a big part of why I do this. I know how important it is for owners of sensitive or reactive dogs to find someone they can trust, and I strive to be that person. Of course, I’m also happy to care for easygoing pups as well! Whether your dog needs a little extra patience and structure or just a loving and reliable sitter, my goal is always the same: making sure your dog feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away.

Pet care fits easily into my weekly schedule because I already structure my days around animals! I have pets of my own and also care for several regular clients through walks, drop-ins, and boarding. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to visit pets multiple times throughout the day when needed. I’m also very active and love being able to give dogs plenty of exercise and energy release while making sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

I’m so happy with the way Kana walked my dog. My dog isn’t easy to walk and tends to react when he sees other dogs, so I was nervous about having someone else handle him. Kana did an amazing job and clearly knew exactly what to do in those situations. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing she has a background in dog training. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter or dog walker, especially if your dog needs a little extra understanding or experience. Schedule
I’m willing to care for your dogs in whatever way makes you most comfortable. Energy release is important and I strive to provide that for all of the dogs that I care for. In addition to pet sitting, I have about 6 years of experience working with dogs in a training and behavior-focused environment. Through that experience, I’ve developed a strong understanding of dog body language and behavior. I’m especially passionate about helping fill the gap for dogs who may struggle to find reliable sitters—such as dogs who are reactive, nervous, or need a handler who understands behavioral challenges. This is something I relate to personally, as I’ve adopted dogs with behavioral issues myself. Because of that, I’m comfortable caring for dogs who may be reactive toward people or other dogs, and I prioritize structure, safety, and clear communication. Of course, I also love working with easygoing pups too, but I’m happy to provide support for owners who need someone with a little extra experience and patience.
