I have over 6 years of experience working with dogs, including hands-on experience as a dog trainer. Through that work, I developed a strong understanding of canine behavior and body language, which allows me to create a calm, structured, and safe environment for every dog in my care. One area I’m especially passionate about is working with dogs who need a little extra understanding. I have experience with reactive dogs, dogs who are nervous around new people, and dogs who may struggle with other dogs. My passion for this really comes from my personal experience with rescue dogs. I had a German Shepherd rescue who was reactive and difficult for others to handle, and finding someone trustworthy to watch him was nearly impossible. I remember always wishing there was someone out there who truly understood dogs like him — someone who could read his behavior, respect his boundaries, and care for him confidently. That experience is a big part of why I do this. I know how important it is for owners of sensitive or reactive dogs to find someone they can trust, and I strive to be that person. Of course, I’m also happy to care for easygoing pups as well! Whether your dog needs a little extra patience and structure or just a loving and reliable sitter, my goal is always the same: making sure your dog feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away.
