I WFH daily so my availability will definitely expand beyond what is currently listed especially on drop-ins and house sitting. I'm quite consistent with routines but also open to adjustments if needed.

Information Kan L. would like to know about your pet
I had a fair share of dogs with different needs, one of my rescue dogs was missing an eye, one went through a surgery at young age and another was a senior dog. I know what it is like to be in those situations, and I'm always prepared if things get rough. If you decide to put them in my care, I'd ask you to also prepare the information that I must know to keep your pet safe.
A typical day
I can never get tired of playing fetch, rubbing bellies, and taking them on walks. Beaches are my go to but dog parks will do just as great.

Pet care experience
I began house-sitting my friend's dogs in 2013 when he had to make an extended business trip overseas. Since then, I've helped take care of my friends' dogs as well as rescued two of my own. I'm fully WFH since Nov 2023 and can host up to two dogs. I am open to all your dog's needs, whether it's a run in the park or cuddles on the couch. I am also familiar with dogs with special needs and medication administration.

When I dropped off Pogi today he went straight into the house and didn't look back 😄! I can tell Pogi enjoys being with Kan and I always appreciate Kan's updates and pics. Thanks again and see you again o. Our next trip!
Kan was great with my Kuma dog. He accepted my request which was a little last minute, and even though my dog who is becoming more senior (9 yrs), is not socialized well with people and is usually afraid of men, by the end of my trip, I could tell she absolutely loved him and would miss him when coming back to me. He was very flexible and allowed me to do a transition where she would stay at my place for a few nights and then he would bring her to his place once she became more used to him. I think it helped her with being less stressed in a new environment, and as I said, I think he was very patient and she felt she could trust him. I’m so grateful I could find such an understanding and patient dog sitter to look after Kuma while I was away. I also received such cute pictures of her!
Thank you again Kan. It's always so carefree and easy when we drop off Pogi with you. Thanks for caring for him so well and sending up regularly updates and pics! We will see you again soon!
