My childhood household always included dogs and cats—at this point, pet care is second nature for me. I value each pet's unique personality and needs, and of course enjoy their company. You can typically find me befriending cats on the sidewalk during my daily walks & making a beeline for the host's dog at any party. My current apartment unfortunately does not allow pets so I'd love to scratch that itch through spending time with yours :) I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats, including those needing a higher level of care. My past petsits include a two-month stint living with a toothless cat while his humans were on a climbing expedition; a month spent with a menagerie of three cats and two dogs during an Arizonan summer; walking (as well as feeding, watering, and lightly grooming) my friend's reactive wolfhound when he's out of town; and most recently, caring for another friend's two cats while one had an infection requiring various medications and isolation from the other cat.
