Born & raised on a farm!
I've been caring for animals my whole life; I grew up on a farm with 15 horses, many chickens, goats, and of course lots of cats & dogs. I've been professionally caring for animals since 2011 where I worked as a vet tech specializing in rehabilitating competition horses. I have the perfect property for playing with large groups of dogs with a lot of fenced-in land.

Kalyn has always been the best with my dogs. She has been watching them since I had my two Belgian Malinoises and now my Malinois and Dutch Shepherd. There is lots of land for them to explore and she is always attentive to their needs. One of them had severe storm anxiety and she always did so well with him. I almost feel bad picking them up because they never want to leave her place.
I cannot say enough great things about Kalyn! She is so personable, nice, and easy to work with. The set up she has is perfect for any dog! They have so much room to play and be outside, but she also has a screened in porch and space for the dogs to chill inside as well. My dog Minnie has never come home after a boarding trip happier! Kalyn also sent lots of cute pictures and videos. Thank you so much Kalyn!
If I could leave a 10 star review, I would. She went above and beyond. She's amazing with dogs. You can rest assured that your dog is in a loving and happy environment. It's like your dog will be on vacation while you are. 10/10 will be using her next time we need a sitter.
I can’t describe how nice it is to know leave out of town and know my fur babies are well taken care of.
She is great with our dogs! They love having free range of the large fenced in yard and the house/patio. Not to mention Kalyn’s other dogs got along so well with ours— can’t wait to bring them back for the next boarding. They will really be looking forward to their next play date 🖤
We have used Kalyn several times and we won’t use anyone else! I know my dogs are well taken care of and happy at her house!

Schedule
I work from home, and I spend most of my weekends working on projects around the property, making both my weekdays & weekends perfect for dog sitting. I have a double-doggy-door system; the first doggy door in the kitchen leads to the screened-in back patio, then the 2nd doggy door goes from the patio to the fenced-in back yard so dogs can go use the bathroom whenever they need. I take frequent breaks from my computer and play with the doggo’s!

I live on a peaceful 6-acre property off a dirt road surrounded by cow and horse farms. 1-acre is fenced in off the house just for the dogs - with beautiful oak & pine trees that provide a lot of shade. The screened-in back patio has carpeting, dog beds, & fans. Inside the home, there are extra dog beds & toys in every room. I have a senior female dog who mostly keeps to herself, and a very loving and energetic girl who will play endlessly with any dog of any size. I have an in-&-out cat that has his own space. I frequently watch dogs that are not friendly with cats since I can keep everyone separated if need be.

A typical day
My furniture is covered/protected so I like to cuddle with the dogs when I’m winding down for the day. If you don’t want your dog to develop the habit of getting on the furniture, I also have multiple plush dog beds in the living room. If your dog is used to sleeping in the bed at night I let them sleep on the guest bed in my guest room. I’ve watched dogs that need to sleep with a person at night and luckily my girl is good at sharing when I’m boarding new dogs, she'll sleep on the couch instead and doesn’t put up a fuss so our guests can be comfy.

- I’m comfortable dealing with all behaviors and I understand their unique anxieties and personalities. I have experience handling shelter dogs, reactive dogs, etc. but please let me know ahead of time if they have triggers. I don't have dog crates so if your dog needs to be crated, please bring yours. I do not appreciate dogs that continually mark their territory inside the house or patio. I understand it can happen once when they first arrive but if it's a continuous behavior and happens frequently I will charge a $120 cleaning fee. If you know your dog has this issue please provide doggy diapers to avoid the cleaning fee. If you have a female in heat, please provide doggy diapers for them as well.
