Hello, I’m Kay, a veterinary technician with 8 years of experience offering professional in-home drop-in care. With nearly a decade in veterinary medicine, I bring both compassion and clinical expertise to every visit. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. Over the past 8 years, I have gained extensive experience administering oral, topical, and injectable medications, as well as supporting pets with chronic conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, and arthritis. Beyond medical care, I closely monitor for changes in appetite, hydration, behavior, or mobility—subtle details that can be especially important for pets with ongoing health needs. During drop-in visits, I can provide: • Feeding and fresh water refills • Litter box cleaning or basic waste removal • Medication administration (oral, topical, injectable) • Chronic condition support and monitoring • General wellness checks (hydration, appetite, comfort level) • Visit reports with notes and photos for your reassurance In addition, I am trained to recognize early signs of distress and respond appropriately in urgent situations. If an emergency arises, I can provide immediate first aid and ensure your pet receives prompt veterinary attention. Every animal I care for is treated with the same respect and attention I would give my own. Whether your pet is a healthy, playful companion or one who requires a bit of extra medical support, you can trust that I’ll bring reliability, knowledge, and compassion to every visit.

I provide attentive, personalized care in your pet’s familiar environment. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box or waste cleanup, play and enrichment, medication administration, and monitoring for any changes in health or behavior. I treat every pet with the same compassion and professionalism I would my own, and I provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

Amazing. I feel less stressed booking future trips knowing I can count on Kaliah to take thoughtful care of my very anxious cats. Both cats took to her right away and that is not usual for either of them. She did a wonderful job. I’m so grateful!
Kaliah has been a great caretaker for my dog! Percy is an anxious guy (with separation anxiety, to boot), but Kaliah’s approach with animals is intuitive and he warmed up to her almost instantly. Kaliah was also very easy to work with, agreeing to do some trial walks before the house sitting so Percy could get used to her. I look forward to working with Kaliah again!
