I recently became a stay at home mom after leaving the healthcare world as a nurse. My schedule is very flexible, and I would love to give pet owners peace of mind their pets are being taken care of while away. My toddler will have to accompany me on any drop-ins or walks, but she loves animals and is used to being around them!

I live on 1.5 acres and have a fully fenced in backyard! My house is located on the end of a street, so there is little car traffic and noise. The occasional things we hear are passing trains, and cows mooing since we are right next to a cow pasture. There are plenty of trails around for walks as well! We do have two cats, so if your pet does not get along with cats or you are not sure if they do it is possible to put the cats in a separate part of the home while your pet is with us. If visiting your home for a walk or drop-in visit I promise to treat your home with respect, and follow any instructions left for me in regard to your pets needs in their own spaces.

Please let me know if there are certain toys or treats your pet prefers! I want them to feel comfortable and have some sort of familiarity around them when I visit your home or if they stay at mine . If they like certain areas to be pet or avoided that would be great to know as well. If boarding your pet please let us know if you prefer for them to only eat the food you provide or if they can have some our food scraps. Our dog lives under our toddler's high chair to see what she drops, and we give her the occasional piece of meat.

I normally start the day with letting our dog into the backyard for a potty break, then breakfast is provided to all of the pets in our home. Shortly after, we take our morning walk around the neighborhood. Depending on the weather we may go to a local trail! Then we spend some time at home lounging around, playing with toys, and napping as needed. Our dog loves to lay in the sun in front of our big sliding glass doors and so do our cats, and your pet is more than welcome to join there! Potty breaks in the backyard are provided throughout the day, and in the evening another shorter walk is provided. At night all the pets sleep in the master room with us, but your pet is more than welcome to sleep where they feel the most comfortable. We have a dog bed in our room and the living room.

I have grown up around pets my entire life, so I am very comfortable with all aspects of caring for animals. We currently have two cats, a dog, and seven chickens so animals are an integral part of our family and day to day life! We have watched many animals in our home and others homes for our military buddies while on leave or TDY. With my medical background I feel comfortable administering any medication your pet may need as well. I would treat your pet as one of my own!

Kali has come twice now in the last month. I am incredibly grateful we have finally found a sitter like her again! Kali is kind, punctual (we have a diabetic cat that needs to be cared for in specific time increments), communicative, and we can tell our cats and home have been taken care of when we get home. She has even managed to get our shy cat to come out while she is there. I am relieved to know we have finally found someone we can trust!
