I make sure I’m really careful when I enter and exit the home. I don’t force in the interaction, I make sure that I take care of the cats and if they want to interact with me and get some attention, I provide it. :)

A typical day
I usually feed the pets, change the litter/let the dogs out, and will sit around on the couch on my phone and just let the cats come up to me if they want attention/treats/playtime. Dog walks include me meeting your dog, asking them to sit so that I can put on their harness and leash, etc., going for a walk of 20 to 25 minutes at a leisurely pace so they can get their sniffs in and then returning and putting them back where they belong with some good pets and scratches and perhaps a treat

Pet care experience
In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats, I have spent time (and been trained) as a dog walking volunteer at the Humane Society. I’m always the “go to” when my friends and family need a reliable pet sitter. I’m good with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I’m a self-proclaimed CAT LADY as I really connect with cats and they seem to always feel very comfortable around me. I have committed many years as a foster for shelters in San Antonio, Texas, bottle feeding and caring for neo-natal pups and kitties. I have a soft spot for older animals as I have two senior cats of my own…shout out to Bam Bam & Amazon. I love taking pictures, so if you DO let me hang out with your pet, he or she may end up being my model for the day. I charge $25 ($30 during all major holidays). All tips are appreciated and can also be sent using money apps.
