My name is Kali! I am a junior Health and Wellness major at the University of Portland. I have one sweet dog named Bruno at home and a housemate with one rebellious kitty at college. Before we rescued our dog, we had a 20-year-old cat who was tough as nails. Growing up with an untrusting rescue dog and a very independent cat, I understand the value of one's behavior and actions regarding a pet and its wellbeing. I have always loved animals and being around them. I've volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation facility and also helped in Thailand at an elephant rescue sanctuary. These opportunities, combined with my own experiences at home have helped to develop my patience, communication skills, love, and respect for animals and their need for a safe environment. I hope that I can be there to provide that environment for your furry companion whenever and wherever you need me! I live in a large house in North Portland near several parks with a fenced backyard and 2 other girls who love animals just as much as I do.
