For drop-in visits, I ensure pets are cared for according to their specific needs. This includes letting pets out for bathroom breaks, short walks, refreshing food and water, administering oral medication (if needed), and spending time playing and engaging with them. Please disclose all animals in the home—any pets needing care must be discussed in advance to confirm pricing and ensure everyone’s safety. For walks, I kindly ask that you provide a secure collar or harness, leash, doggy bags, and access to a trash bin. A standard walk includes 30 minutes of sniff-friendly exploration to keep your pup happy and stimulated. Happy to walk cats also if desired!

This includes things like resource guarding, anxiety around strangers or other dogs, aggression, leash pulling, door rushing, hiding, and similar behaviors. I have experience working with pets exhibiting these traits, so you can feel confident your pet is in capable and understanding hands. Sharing this information helps me provide the safest, most comfortable care possible. Disclosure of these concerns won’t result in cancellation unless there’s a safety risk to myself or others.
A typical day
A typical drop-in visit lasts about 30 minutes. During that time, I refresh water bowls, serve food as requested, and administer oral medication if needed. I take dogs outside for bathroom breaks and short walks around the yard. I engage pets with playtime using their favorite toys, both indoors and outdoors, providing companionship to keep their day fun and stimulating. Additionally, I’m happy to help with extras like watering plants, picking up toys, and tidying up to keep your home comfortable while you’re away. If a longer visit is needed, I’m open to discussing and accommodating that as well.

She scheduled a meet and greet to answer both of our questions and get to know my dog before she actually did the drop-in visit. Showed up on time and sent several pictures. Also checked in on the dog she wasn’t caring for. Would work with again.
