I am currently pursuing masters at Texas State University, so my schedule is flexible, except Mondays and Wednesdays. I have classes from 11am-2:20pm. I also have internship for 4 hours from Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm-7:30pm. On Mondays & Wednesdays, I will stop by my home in between my class and internship to let the dogs out and give them attention before leaving. Other than that, I am home full time.

Hi, my name is Kalena. I've been providing dedicated and loving pet care for the past ten years. Animals have always held a special place in my heart—they’re truly the best part of my life. A few years ago, I lost my soul dog, Luck, to cancer, and more recently, my 1-year-old cat, Mio, to heart failure. These losses deepened my passion and commitment to being a voice and source of comfort for animals in need. I'm currently pursuing my master’s degree at Texas State University and looking for a side job to help support my education. You can find me on Rover, where I proudly hold a 5.0 rating for my compassionate and reliable pet care services. I've worked with a range of young puppies and kittens to older dogs and cats. I've volunteered at a dog rescue center (Four Legged Ranch) multiple times. I've also worked with a breeder and I've helped clean the crates, pick up poop, feed them and more. My clients and their pet are my number one priority and I can only hope they are satisfied with my service. My goal of my service is to always treat your pets like they are my own and make sure they go back to you happy and healthy. Trust and communication are also the key to my service, so I will provide you with a thorough details and pictures/videos.

She was amazing! This was our little pups first time with us away and Kalena was great. She was very communicative and kept us up to date on how the dogs were doing.

Kalena was absolutely wonderful, and we could tell our dogs genuinely loved her. She paid attention to so many little details that most people would overlook, and her updates gave us a clear picture of exactly what our dogs were experiencing while we were away. She had an ability to really read my pups and knew their crazy personalities, which helped her know how to comfort and care for them. She was an excellent communicator throughout the entire stay. She even vacuumed and tidied up before we got home, which was incredibly thoughtful and so appreciated. Kalena truly exceeded our expectations, and we feel like we completely lucked out finding her. Thank you, Kalena, for taking such amazing care of our pups and our pups.
