I would like to start off by saying, this is my full time job. When your furry family member is with me their safety and comfort is my number 1 priority. I want their routine at my house to be as close to their routine at your house to maximize their comfort, and I will make any necessary adjustments to accommodate them. I also limit the number of dogs I board to maximize the amount of attention I can give to your pup. I’ve owned several different dog breeds since I was a teenager. Most of my experience is with medium to large dog breeds.additionally I worked closely with dogs while in Afghanistan. I am a stay at home dad now so I have the time to dog sit and would love to have playmates for my pups Hugo and Gemma (discounts are available for military or those in need of long term care)

This was my first time using the rover app and I struck gold finding Kalen to watch my pup. He communicated great and provided updates each day. Everything went super smooth and would highly recommend getting in touch with him if you need someone to watch your pet!

Kalan and family were incredible. Kept me updated and sent me pictures. Our baby boy struggled being away from home but they were so good with him and by day 2 he was good to go. Our princess Page loves it and was chill as normal. Thank you you for your care for our dogs while we were out of town.
Kalen runs a very clean and professional dog kennel. We are currently taking care of our son’s dog while he is away on a detachment, and we wanted someone we could trust. Our son had used Kalen back in February, so we decided to go with him again. When we dropped Loki off, he immediately recognized where he was and was excited to go inside. That told us a lot about how comfortable he feels there. Kalen clearly takes good care of the dogs and creates a safe, welcoming environment. Kalen is also great with communication. He responds quickly, keeps you updated, and is easy to work with. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely use him again.
We had an exceptional experience with Kalen! When an unexpected event arose, he graciously accepted our last-minute request to care for Frankie. From the moment we met him, his confidence and kindness shone through. His kids welcomed Frankie with open arms, creating a warm and loving environment that immediately felt like home. It was clear he could handle any puppy antics that Frankie might throw their way! Throughout her stay, we received multiple updates and adorable pictures that showed just how much fun she was having. It was comforting to know she was in such good hands. We will definitely be scheduling with Kalen again!

Schedule
I am a stay at home dad so I have open availability and plenty of time to play with your pups and be attentive. We recently relocated to Buckeye and have a half acre for the dogs to run around. Whether you are looking for a safe place to leave your dog while you’re on vacation, or you have a puppy and you want to start early socialization around other dogs and small children I can help with that by booking an occasional daycare play date

Safety, trust & environment
First thing in the morning all dogs are let out to relieve themselves and then individually fed, shortly there after dogs will go outside again if needed. From there I will follow the routine of each individual pup. I have time for walks and all other activities the dogs may want to do, including supervised pool time for the dogs that want to swim in our gated in-ground pool area. I will take note of your pups routine and match it to the best of my ability. Sleeping arrangements will be accomplished on an individual basis based on what your pup is used to.

A typical day
A typical day involves hanging with the pups inside and letting them hang around myself and my kids, or going outside to run out some energy and have supervised pool time. All dogs will get a bath if they use the pool. I also go for occasional walks if weather permits
