Animal science degree & Experience
I have taken care of and been around dogs my entire life, mainly large dogs. I have dog-sat for my neighbors for the past 10 years and they have trusted me with weeks on end watching their pups. I have worked in two dog kennels where the dogs are unpredictable and typically hyperactive. I have learned how to detect when a dog is anxious, dominant, ill, etc. With this personal experience combined with my education in animal science, I am able to assess and proactively care for animals.

Kaleigh is always great w/ my pups & today, with the rain, she was amazing! She took them for a good walk & toweled them off.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am working as a part time student and have classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. On Tuesday’s and Thursdays I am in class from 2 PM to 4 PM. When I am not in class I have an entirely free schedule and I am able to make visits before classes as well as after.

I have lots of experience with handling large dogs, breaking fights, putting in crate, etc. I will do whatever their owners do on a regular basis and will be able to fulfill any hardship that I may encounter with a difficult animal
A typical day
I like to go on walks with dogs, especially if they have lots of energy, I like driving around with the pups and maybe getting a pup cup on the way :) If they are friendly dogs I take them to a local dog park so they can play with friends.
