I’ve been around animals my whole life, and caring for them has always felt natural to me. I previously worked at PetSmart, where I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of pets, including dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. That role taught me the importance of routine, safety, positive reinforcement, and paying attention to the small details that keep pets healthy and happy. By profession, I’m currently a teacher, which means patience, responsibility, clear communication, and reliability are at the core of what I do every day. I’m used to being trusted with what matters most to people, and I bring that same level of care and accountability to looking after pets. Until recently, I was the proud owner of a Siberian Husky who lived an incredible life right up to the age of 13. Caring for him through all stages of life — from high-energy younger years to senior care — gave me deep experience with exercise needs, mental stimulation, grooming, and adapting routines as pets age. He was truly family, and his long, happy life means the world to me.
