I have taken care of my close friends and families many cats and dogs of different breeds and amazingly different personality types for at least the last 15 years. Who doesn't love an exuberant leg rub hello from a lovey kitty or a jumping puppy who loves to give kisses? However, keep in mind I do have a special skill set with both cats and dogs that are very unsure of new people. When I enter an animals home I actively ignore shy animals, sit quietly and let them come to me on their own terms. I have a strong understanding of those classic stress signals, the cute but warning whale eyes, the lip licking (and not because they are hungry) and flat ears. I am also versed in diabetic care for cats as well. I am comfortable with large breed dogs and have experience with German Shepherds and Bully Breeds. In addition I am willing to wear an N95 as needed for any immune compromised needs. Looking forward to meeting your adorable animals!
