CPDT-KA Trainer/Rescue Volunteer
Hi! My name is Kala. I'm a CPDT-KA certified dog trainer and have worked professionally and as a volunteer in animal care for 15+ years, including house sitting, dog walking, shelter and kennel animal care, and farm care. I’m a CPR/first-aid certified, insured and bonded pet sitter and a member of Petsitters International. After a 3 year internship with Our Companions Canine College Program and Animal Sanctuary, I recently earned my CPDT-KA certification! I have experience with a wide range of canine temperaments, including fearful and reactive dogs. I’ve worked with dogs of all life stages including puppies and seniors, and have training with home care for various medical conditions including administering insulin shots. I’m comfortable working with all breeds and sizes. I am happy to offer in-home visits while you are away, or stop by for walks and feeding and play time during your workday or busy weekend. I would love to meet you and your pets and sign on as your next pet nanny!

Dates de la garde
When I'm not taking care of animals, I'm a self-employed music teacher and performer. I work the after-school shift and always wrap up by dinner time during the week, so I have plenty of availability before and after lessons to look after your pets! On the weekends, I often have evening performances, and am available for visits before and after events.
