I’ve cared for cats of all personalities, from outgoing lap cats to shy, independent ones who need patience and space. I understand that cats thrive on routine and low disruption, so I follow feeding schedules closely, keep litter boxes clean, and let each cat set the pace for interaction. I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications. Whether your cat warms up immediately or watches from a distance the whole visit, they’ll be calm, fed, and well looked after.

For walks and drop-ins, I keep things low-key: familiar environment, familiar routine, minimal disruption to their day. For house sitting, I stay in your home and keep your pet's routine exactly as you left it. I treat your space with the same care I'd want someone to treat mine. Got a weird routine, like needing to fake a 5-star meal, or finding the perfect blade of grass for a potty break? Tell me about it, I'll make it happen.

Kal was great with our 12 yr old dog, Rocky. Kal made herself available for our last minute needs, sent lots of beautiful photos and was very communicative. She made sure to follow Rocky’s routine and went above and beyond to make sure he went potty before going to bed and after breakfast. Rocky threw up a little bit and she made sure to clean it up. Kal stayed at our apartment with our two dogs while we were traveling. She provided outstanding, thorough care, and detailed updates throughout the stay which gave us constant peace of mind that our boys were happy and safe. I cannot recommend Kal highly enough and we will be using her for all our future pet/home sitting needs.

I've had the pleasure of volunteering with Kal in the animal welfare space for the last couple of years. She is an incredible dog handler, displaying confidence in working with dogs of all sizes, and patience and compassion for the ones that may have heightened behavioral needs. Kal also has extensive cat experience through her own cat and watching mine while I'm away. She is my go-to person for my animal needs, whether it be pet sitting or working together with shelter dogs.

Schedule
I am available for morning and evening walks and drop-ins, and midday as my schedule allows during the week, with a flexible weekend. I’m also available for house sitting. Have needs outside of this? Let’s talk! If the travel distance exceeds my daily service range, additional fees may apply.
