Caring for animals is all about creating a space where they feel safe, understood, and comfortable — whether they’re here with me or I’m stepping into their world. At my home, the environment is built around the dogs. I keep things clean, calm, and fresh so pets with sensitive noses, tummies, or skin can breathe easy and settle in. Bedding gets washed, bowls stay clean, toys rotate, and play zones are tidied throughout the day — not just once. I’m always checking little things: gates latched, trash secured, doors closed, no stray snacks on the floor. Prevention keeps everybody happy. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I move with respect — for the routine that’s already in place and for the space I’m invited into. I stick to your rules, your feeding schedule, your walking routes, and your house quirks. I’ll water bowls, straighten play areas, sweep up fur if needed, and leave your home just as cared for as your pet. Rover provides coverage for emergencies, but my focus is making sure we never get close to needing it. Daily cleaning, constant supervision, and thoughtful structure keep your pet safe, relaxed, and thriving. Wherever your baby is — with me or in their own favorite corner of your home — they’ll be treated like they truly belong there.

Before boarding or sitting, I love it when owners share things like house-training habits, vaccination status, and any signs of reactivity or anxiety. This helps me plan the best mix of play, rest, and confidence-building — and ensures that friendly pups get along seamlessly with those who may need a little extra space or support. I happily work with all sizes and breeds, including reactive dogs, and I even provide support for expectant moms during whelping. I have extra crates on hand, but if your pup has one they love, I encourage bringing it along — familiar comfort goes a long way. Vaccinations are strongly preferred since walks, playtime, and even indoor hangouts can expose pets to germs. And if there’s any aggressive behavior that isn’t disclosed last-minute, I may ask for a crate and an additional safety fee — just to make sure every pup stays safe. Special needs? Bring ‘em! I don’t mind at all — the more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor care so your baby feels understood, safe, and loved. At GrowlTopia, we host special events like Easter Pawtraits, Pupcups under the sun, and even holiday dinners — all captured with custom professional videos so you can relive the memories long after the tail wags fade. Socializing with friends, exploring, learning, and loving every second — that’s the rhythm here. Your pup doesn’t just stay safe; they get a life full of joy, adventure, and unforgettable moments.

Yeah… dogs are my “something.” Long before I was anybody’s mom or business owner, I was the kid who suddenly had a white cocker spaniel in her arms because a sweet girl named Ayla couldn’t take him when her family moved. I said yes before I even knew if my mom would — and that yes changed everything. Scrappy was my shadow. We learned as we went — through mud baths, home haircuts, endless ball throws, and bike rides where he practically pedaled with me. I didn’t realize it then, but that was my first apprentice: grooming, bonding, training, teaching sit → speak → count… discovering what happens when a dog feels safe enough to be brilliant. By eight, I was walking neighborhood dogs, making candy-water money, and figuring out how good it feels to help a family breathe easier because someone trusted their beloved pet. That’s the thread that runs through everything I do now. I’m the sitter who notices the little shifts — the “I’ll stay close today” look, the “I don’t like loud noises” flinch, the “I’m ready to play again” spark. I’ve chased runaway pups, comforted anxious ones, and learned through experience — including the heartbreak of my own boy going missing and the victory of bringing him home — that safety and loyalty are not negotiable. Kajzarai went above and beyond for my rescue pup and I. He has a lot of anxiety and issues with men. She worked with him to help him adjust while he stayed with her. She kept in touch and gave me updates regularly without me even asking. I would definitely recommend her and plan to continue using her service even just for working on socializing.
