Hi there! We are Kaiya and Charlie, and we have always been huge animal lovers. We grew up with cats and dogs of all sizes and currently have a small mixed breed pup and a yellow lab that make up our little family. We have cared for dogs and cats for over twenty years since we adopted our first rescues and we are excited for the opportunity to meet and care for your loved ones! We love pets of all breeds, shapes, sizes, and species and will have no issue taking care of the most rambunctious or calm pets. We have a large 1/4 acre fenced-in yard for playtime and can provide whatever cuddles are needed. If you'd prefer your pet to be separate from ours when boarded, we have an entirely separate floor on which your pet can stay with one of us. We require our guests to be fully vaccinated and comfortable in a crate, in case they show any destructive behaviors or need a short time out. Please note that a boarding stay of seven or more days will fall under our extended day rate. We also have a separate rate for holidays and puppies under 1 year old. Let us know if you have any questions or want to know more about us! If you're interested in having your pets stay over, we'll schedule a meet and greet at our home; if you’d prefer a house sit, we will come to you. We can't wait to meet you and your pets!

As a first time Rover user, we were so happy to have Kaiya house-sit our two young cats! She kept us updated throughout with pictures and funny stories from the day's shenanigans with the cats, and was flexible around her own schedule to make sure she could stay with them during the days we were gone. She even made the extra effort to tidy our place before we got back! Would recommend her to anyone!

Pandora had the best time staying with Kaiya and Charles! They gave us daily updates with plenty of photos, which made us feel comfortable while we were away. It was clear Pandora was cared for and happy her entire stay. She came back relaxed and tired after a weekend of fun! We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring sitters.

Kaiya and Charles did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs. They sent detailed updates and photos of our dogs while we were out of town. They were very respectful with our home and took excellent care of our house while we were out of town. 100 percent will rebook if we need a dog sitter again!
Highly recommend Charles for pet sitting. Our dog warmed up to him immediately and he did the same to her. He is responsible, kind, caring and understanding. He helped us out by staying an extra day when our flight was canceled and that gave us the peace of mind we needed to get back home sooner. We are happy we were able to find him and look forward to working with him again!

Schedule
Charlie has a flexible schedule, so some days he may be home all day. We will walk the dogs whenever they need, but can go for longer walks in the late afternoon. We can provide care any day of the week and are able to facilitate drop-offs in the afternoons and evenings of weekdays (with occasional mornings) and any time on the weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
We supervise backyard time and will spend significant time outside with them if they enjoy it, or can cuddle up with them inside if that is their preference. Guests can be walked by themselves or with our dogs, depending on all dogs' preferences. All dogs are watched when at home and free to roam as they desire when alone; if normally crated, we will crate our guests based on their regular schedules and comfort levels. We are able to separate our dogs and our guests if necessary. All dogs are fed in separate areas and, if necessary, at different times. Play is carefully monitored to ensure safety and maximum fun! Each guest's personal boundaries are respected and they will not be forced to do anything unnecessary--we always find the right way to feed, sleep, relax, and entertain that allows for each guest to feel comfortable. Some dogs want to sit on laps while others prefer to snooze by themselves; we respect our guests' preferences while providing the care and structure they need to thrive.

A typical day
To provide entertainment for our dogs and guests, we like to take a walk around our suburban, low traffic neighborhood and play in our fenced-in backyard! If you'd like, we can take your dog to the park nearby. Our own dogs can provide puppy playtime and we can provide supervised toy playtime.
