Each day as a dog walker starts with checking my schedule and mapping out routes to make sure every pup gets the time and attention they deserve. I usually begin with early morning walks, especially in warmer months, to beat the heat and give dogs a refreshing start to their day. Throughout the day, I visit clients' homes to walk their dogs, offering them not just exercise but also mental stimulation and companionship. I tailor each walk to the dog’s needs—some enjoy a fast-paced walk, while others prefer a slower, sniff-filled stroll. I always bring water, treats (with owner permission), and plenty of affection. In between walks, I check in with pet parents with updates and photos so they know how their pup is doing. I also work in playtime, feeding, or medication if needed. My flexible schedule allows me to adapt to last-minute requests or changes in weather, ensuring every dog is comfortable, cared for, and happy.
