Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I already structure my life around my two dogs. I work East Coast hours, which allows me to begin care as early as 6am. My mornings naturally include potty breaks, feeding, and outside time. I typically finish work around 3pm, giving me a consistent afternoon block for walks, park visits, light hikes, or relaxed outdoor time before dinner. Because I intentionally limit the number of dogs in my care, I am able to maintain a calm, supervised environment and provide individual attention rather than juggling a crowded schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a dog friendly condo designed with daily pet life in mind. We have two dog doors, one to a back patio and one to a balcony, both equipped with turf for safe and convenient outdoor access throughout the day. There are no children in the home, which keeps the environment calm and predictable. I limit care to one to two additional dogs at a time so I can closely supervise interactions. I carefully manage feeding, especially due to allergies in my home, and I monitor play styles to prevent overly rough behavior. I always prefer a meet and greet beforehand to ensure personalities and energy levels are compatible.

Information Kaitlyn W. would like to know about your pet
Before care begins, I like to know your dog’s typical routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any medical needs. Please share information about allergies, medications, mobility concerns, or behavioral tendencies such as leash reactivity or resource guarding. It is also helpful to understand how your dog interacts with other dogs, whether they are familiar with dog doors, and how they adjust to new environments. The more I know about your pup’s personality and preferences, the better I can make their stay feel safe, smooth, and enjoyable.
A typical day
Each day includes free access to outside through dog doors for potty and fresh air, and a balance of activity and rest tailored to each dog’s energy level. Mornings begin calmly, and once I finish work in the afternoon, I prioritize outdoor time such as walks, park visits, or light hikes depending on stamina and comfort. Inside the home, dogs enjoy a mix of play, enrichment, and downtime. Some prefer fetch and movement, while others enjoy lounging and attention. I adapt to each dog’s personality while keeping a consistent routine so they feel secure and comfortable.

Pet care experience
Dogs have always been at the center of my life. I grew up constantly around them and have had two to three of my own throughout my entire adult life. Pet care is not something I casually do. It is already built into how I live every day. My two current dogs, Seymour and Harley, are both 8.5 years old and turning 9 in June. Seymour has arthritis and multiple food allergies, which means I am highly experienced in mobility awareness, recognizing subtle signs of discomfort, carefully managing activity levels, ingredient checking, preventing cross contamination, and maintaining strict feeding routines. Harley still has great energy outside and loves to play, though her stamina is shorter now with age. Living with both of them has made me extremely attentive to body language, energy balance, and creating structure without overstimulation. I have personally raised dogs from true puppy age and have also cared for senior dogs up to 15 and 16 years old, including those who developed blindness and deafness. I understand the patience required for puppies who need consistency and supervision, as well as the gentleness and predictability seniors need to feel safe. I am comfortable administering oral medications but not injections. What truly sets me apart is the level of genuine love and attention I give. Any dog in my care will be treated like my own and will never be short on affection, supervision, or thoughtful care.
Reviews

Kaitlyn took great care of my puppy she did have a few accidents in the house but didn't even make me feel bad about it.

Kaitlyn is a great pet sitter! Louie is always happy when I drop him off to her place. She is very patient with him, and her two dogs are just soo cute and amazing with Louie. :)
Kaitlyn would be a fabulous dog sitter. She has two pups at home currently as well as provides support to her parents whom have three pups. She is a very trustworthy, honest and proactive individual. I would recommend Kaitlyn for any and all dog sitting, walking and caregiving responsibilities.
Any time I need a dog sitter for my little ones I call Kaitlyn! She’s treats them well and they get excited to see her every time!
