I am particularly experienced in caring for and training senior dogs. I understand the need to prepare special meals for dietary needs and catering playtime to a dog's health and interests. Administering oral medicine is no biggie for me, as long as I'm made aware of how they usually prefer to take their meds! If the dog is able to, I love taking them out for walks and playing games to keep their mind and body stimulated. There is nothing better than loving our furry family members who always give us unconditional love! I also have experience caring for cats and knowing the importance of respecting their space and letting them come to me when they're comfortable! I love playing with cats or even just watching them sunbathe in the most random parts of a home. I am open to caring for all types of animals (I've had to watch hamsters in addition to dogs before), so your pet will always be showered with love! Prior to Booking 🗓️ I will always ask to schedule a meet & greet to ensure your pet is comfortable with me. During this meet & greet, I'd love to know more about your pet's daily routine, a tour of your home, and any other housekeeping notes I should know during the stay. The meet & greet is to see if we're a good fit and make sure we're both comfortable proceeding with the booking. I always ask my clients to type up a document with pet care instructions and any notes about the home to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. If your pet requires constant supervision due to separation anxiety or behavior that requires special attention (aggressive behavior, chews on personal items, constantly barks throughout the day, always pulls on the leash, not potty trained, has a habit of biting or scratching unprovoked), an additional flat fee of $20 will be added to reflect the additional care that they'll require. What to Expect 💭 Multiple photo updates during the day! I always send photos before they're requested. You'll see what your pets are up to, whether there are any issues going on that you need to know, or just silly moments of them that I happened to capture. It'll be like you never left them. Many walks (around 2-3 times a day), cuddles, treats (as allowed), and toys to keep your pet entertained during the day! Your home will be respected and kept in a clean condition. I understand the anxiety of having someone else in your home, so I'll always respect boundaries about rooms to leave untouched, taking out the garbage, bringing in mail, and washing any dishes that may be used. I also try to clean your pet's food and water bowls daily to ensure their health and safety! I will often put any used towels or bedsheets in one place or pre-loaded into the washing machine so that you're aware of what was used.
