My schedule is pretty flexible right now! I am currently in nursing school and work part time, picking up shifts as my schedule allows. Because of this, I have a lot of availability during the week and can often accommodate last minute requests. I am generally available Monday through Friday and can provide walks, drop in visits, and overnight care. If I ever have a scheduling conflict, I promise to communicate promptly and honestly so you can feel confident your pet is will be taken care of ! I understand that consistency is important, and I take my commitment to caring for your pet seriously.

I like to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable and stress free while you’re away. I’ll make sure they have fresh water, meals on schedule, plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Before caring for your pet, I’ll take the time to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, medications, and any special needs so I can care for them the way you would. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates because I know how much we all miss our pets when we’re away from them!

A typical day
My idea of fun is whatever your dog thinks is fun! Every dog is different. Some love long walks and taking in all the neighborhood gossip (aka smells), while others prefer playing fetch, enrichment activities, or just getting extra cuddles and attention. I’d love to learn about your dog’s personality, favorite activities, and routine so we can make sure they have the best time while you’re away!

Pet care experience
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a hamster, and my parents made sure I was responsible for his daily care. Since then, I’ve cared for all kinds of animals, including fish, reptiles, small mammals, and dogs. Today, I have three dogs of my own: King Julian, my almost 14 year old miniature schnauzer, Simba, my energetic yellow lab, and Rhino, a pit bull mix. Caring for dogs in different stages of life has given me experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I am comfortable handling dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. Whether your pet needs medication, extra exercise, a consistent routine, or just lots of love and attention, I will care for them as if they were my own. As a paramedic and current nursing student, I am calm under pressure, dependable, and attentive to details. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect frequent updates, photos, and videos while you’re away so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby!
