I guarantee your pets will receive every ounce of love and attention they deserve! My full-time job provides me with scheduling flexibility, so I am happy to discuss your pets’ routines so I can adjust my work schedule accordingly, but I do ask that all pets are able to be alone for at least 8 hours during the day to prevent any stress or discomfort. Don’t worry, my own pets will be well taken care of in the meantime!

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I am so excited to meet and care for your furry family members!! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Honors Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources from Clemson University. I’ve been working with animals both personally and professionally for over 7 years. My experience includes 2.5 years at Zoo Knoxville, 2 years volunteering with the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, and most recently, I have volunteered with the Athens Area Humane Society. Over the years, I have worked with more species than I can count! Throughout my 4.5 years of pet care through Rover, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, snakes, birds, fish, chinchillas, geckos, and more! I’m comfortable with just about any animal and am happy to care for your home while you’re away. I have experience with houseplants and gardens and will gladly keep your green friends thriving too! I pride myself on my attention to detail and my commitment to treating each pet (and home) under my care like my own. I look forward to chatting with you about how I can be the perfect sitter for you!

Kaitlyn did an amazing job caring for my three big dogs. She was incredibly kind, considerate, and attentive throughout the entire time she watched them. She sent frequent updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind and showed how well my dogs were being cared for. Managing three high-energy dogs is not an easy task, but Kaitlyn handled them wonderfully. When I returned home they were happy, comfortable, and clearly well loved. It’s obvious that she truly cares about animals and treats them like her own. I would absolutely trust her again to care for my babies!
