Today I am a professional body piercer at Atomic Tattoo but before I was graced with this new career, I spent my teens and early 20s taking care of all types of pets full time. I started at Petco when I was 16 where I got hands on experience with all different types of species. From there, I graduated into the Vet field starting off as a Kennel Technician. I quickly progressed my way into the management position, which eventually let to a Vet tech roll. Through this experience, I learned to understand animal behavior, pet safety, feeding and medication administration as well as scheduling and documentation. Since I’ve stepped away from the vet industry, I have stayed loyal to the families that had previously hired me for pet sitting while away on vacation. Through this, I’ve been given the opportunity to work and bond with their loved animals for extended periods of time.
