Pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I work a flexible schedule and spend part of my week working from home, which allows me to provide companionship, potty breaks, and attention throughout the day. On office days, I work standard business hours, but I make sure pets receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection before and after work. My family enjoys having dogs around, so your pet will have lots of love and attention during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. We currently do not have any pets of our own, allowing me to focus my attention on the dogs in my care. Dogs are treated like family in our home and are welcome on the furniture if that's what they're used to. While we do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised. We have a secure tie-out area in front of our townhouse where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine, and there is a dog park directly across from our home for exercise and play. For crate-trained dogs, we have built-in kennel spaces available to help maintain their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications and following any special instructions to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Information Kaitlyn E. would like to know about your pet

* How they interact with children * Any medications or medical conditions * Feeding schedule and dietary restrictions * Potty routine and house-training status * Crate-training preferences * Any fears, triggers, or anxieties (thunder, fireworks, separation anxiety, etc.) * Energy level and exercise needs * Commands they know and any behaviors you're currently working on * Favorite toys, activities, or comfort items * Anything else that helps them feel safe and at home

A typical day

Every dog is different, so I tailor activities to their age, energy level, and personality. A typical day may include walks around the neighborhood, trips to the dog park, supervised outdoor time, play sessions, enrichment activities such as slow feeders and treat puzzles, and plenty of affection and attention. For dogs who prefer a slower pace, I'm just as happy to provide a comfortable place to relax, cuddle on the couch, and enjoy a calm day at home. My goal is for every pet to feel comfortable, engaged, and loved while they're with us.

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Kaitlyn! I know that pets are family. I know what it's like to worry about them when you're away, to miss them while you're gone, and to want the absolute best care for them. That's why I strive to create a home where dogs feel safe, comfortable, loved, and included. I recently said goodbye to my Australian Shepherd after 12.5 wonderful years together. She was with me through so many seasons of life, and caring for her from puppyhood through her senior years only deepened my love and appreciation for dogs. While I'm not quite ready to welcome another dog of my own into the family, I would love the opportunity to care for yours. I have previous Rover experience with a 5-star rating and have cared for dogs with a variety of personalities, needs, and routines. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace and extra cuddles, I take the time to get to know them as an individual and provide the care that makes them happiest. My family enjoys opening our home to furry guests, and every dog who stays with us is treated with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I would want for my own. My goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being cared for by someone who genuinely loves dogs and understands just how much they mean to the people who love them.

Kaitlyn was wonderful about communicating and sending updates about my dog. I feel confident she was well loved and was taken to the dog park to get her energy out. It was a relief to my husband and I knowing she was having fun and she was safe while we were on vacation.

Bruno had his rabies booster, and he needed to be taking care and rest. Kaitlyn was so kind and let him sleep on her bed! I got pictures (good quality photos) and she answer my questions when I texted her.

We had an amazing experience with Kaitlyn dog sitting! I have two dogs (siblings) who don't do well at boarding facilities & Kaitlyn was so helpful when it came to taking care of them. She followed all the instructions we had for the pups & made sure they were well loved during our trip! She doesn't just check the boxes - she truly spends time with your pup & makes sure they get their energy out! If you have any special requirements or concerns about what you want done while you're gone, I would highly recommend Kaitlyn as a top choice! She will follow through on whatever you need :)
