Pet care experience
Over the past 6 years I have worked at a range of different animal care jobs! I worked as a doggie daycare/boarding employee at Camp Bow Wow for 4 years, where I played with and cared for a wide variety of dogs from all stages of their lives! Additionally, I spent 3 years as an Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) at VCA Animal Hospital in my hometown of Houston, TX. These experiences allowed me to gain skills in animal behavior, pet patient education, and animal handling.

Kaitlyn has had a love for all animals big and small from a young age. Growing she had dogs, hamsters, fish, and horses! Kaitlyn loved caring for all of her animals and also was a pet sitter for our neighbors when they traveled. She also worked at Camp Bow Wow as her first part time job in addition to pet sitting. Kaitlyn was a camp counselor at Bow Wow for 2+ years in high school and even completed an unpaid internship there before she turned 16. As an employee of Camp Bow Wow she completed formal trainings on animal behavior and CPR. In high school she also pursued a certification for vet tech through a program at her high school and as part of this program completed 300 hours shadowing in a veterinary office. She learned proper ways to hold animals for procedures and observed in surgeries. Taking care of animals is a true passion of hers and she would love taking care of your precious pet!
