Hi! I’m Kaitlyn, and I’ve been pet sitting across the Middle Tennessee area since 2015. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats (including puppies and kittens) and even bearded dragons, for more than 10 families. Since graduating college 7 years ago, pet and house sitting has been a fulfilling way for me to help pay off student loans while doing something I love. I joined Rover to expand my reach and connect with even more pet owners. I take pride in being trustworthy, reliable, and treating your beloved pet as if they were my own. I know it can be nerve-wracking to leave your pet in someone else’s care, but I’m committed to learning their routine and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I have a 10 month old and 12-year-old dogs of my own, whom I adore, and I’ve fostered dogs through Pawster Nashville. Thank you for considering me! I’d be honored to care for your pet!

We have a rescue dog we adopted 3 years ago. She has been a challenge and we haven't left home for more than a weekend since we got her. A coworker booked Kaitlyn to pet sit while she was out of town and said she was wonderful. I booked her so we could take a trip to NYC. After the meet and greet, I told my husband I felt really good about this. Kaitlyn and her husband put us at ease immediately. During the trip, we got regular updates and pictures. Lots of pictures. We were not concerned about our pets (we also have 2 elderly cats) the whole time we were gone. Kaitlyn and Brett went above and beyond anything we expected when we booked. We feel like we can plan more trips without worrying about our pets. I cannot recommend them enough. We will definitely book with Kaitlyn again. :)
Kaitlyn was awesome, and our Shepherd had the best time! We received updates and photos every day, which made us so happy. We loved the dog run in their neighborhood! We’ll be booking again soon. Kaitlyn and her husband went above and beyond to make it a fun experience. Thank you 🐾
Kaitlyn is a wonderful, responsible sitter for our senior dog. She administered medication and made sure our dog was comfortable and happy. We loved all the cute pictures and timely communications. It gave us peace of mind that our dog was in the best place ever!!! We will be using her again! Kaitlyn and her husband are absolutely fantastic sitters!

Kaitlyn and her husband did a great job taking care of our Ruby in our home while we were away. They even made sure to water our outdoor plants and stripped the bedding and started the wash! Thank you Kaitlyn and Brett! We really appreciate the care you took.

I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to care for pets either in your home or mine; where your pet will receive attention and companionship all day, every day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a friendly, 11-year-old neutered male Maltipoo who loves the company of other pets. While we don’t have a fenced-in yard, we always use a leash for potty breaks and regularly visit a fenced-in dog run just steps from our front door. We also live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood with sidewalks, which is perfect for safe and enjoyable walks. Inside our home, we have a baby gate to safely separate the upstairs and downstairs when needed. This has been especially helpful for pets with special needs who shouldn’t use stairs, or for keeping pets out of carpeted areas when necessary. Lastly, we’re well-equipped to keep your pup comfortable and entertained with plenty of toys and treats, enrichment puzzles to keep their minds active, small and large dog beds, and a small and large crate available for dogs who are crate trained.

A typical day
I’m passionate about keeping your pet both physically and mentally engaged. Since I work from home, I’m able to spend plenty of quality time with them- whether that’s going on walks, playing their favorite games, or getting exercise at our neighborhood dog run or on our daily walk.
