I understand that cats thrive best in calm, respectful environments where they can feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. I’m attentive to each cat’s individual personality - whether they’re social and affectionate or more independent and reserved. I grew up in a home that regularly rescued and fostered animals, so caring for different temperaments and behavioral needs has always come naturally to me. I’m patient, observant, and gentle, especially with shy or anxious pets who need extra reassurance and consistency. Because I work from home, pets receive lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I keep a clean, quiet, cozy environment and prioritize making animals feel relaxed and secure while their owners are away. I treat every pet with the same level of care and attentiveness I give my own animals, and I know how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for a beloved pet.

Safety is always my top priority when caring for dogs in my home. I have two friendly rescue dogs who are calm, social, and well accustomed to sharing space with other animals. I always prioritize slow, respectful introductions and pay close attention to each dog’s comfort level, personality, and boundaries. I provide a calm, structured environment where dogs are supervised closely and never left unattended outdoors. My home is ground level and has a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, fetch, bathroom breaks, and relaxing in the sun, and all yard time is monitored. Inside the home, I use tools like baby gates when needed to create separate spaces for rest, decompression, feeding, or quieter introductions. Because I work from home, I’m present throughout the day to supervise interactions, maintain routines, and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is always to create a cozy, low-stress environment where dogs can settle in comfortably and feel at home.

Kaitlyn was an amazing sitter for our fur baby with separation anxiety! He was extremely well taken care of, and we were absolutely stress-free even from another continent! She took him on short notice when our other sitter couldn’t go through with the dog-sitting, and was really accommodating and helpful. We would recommend Kaitlyn to anybody to take care of their puppy, especially if they’re anxious!
Kaitlyn is probably the most caring dog person I’ve ever met. She’s absolutely amazing and treats both her own dogs and mine like royalty. She even makes homemade dog food and treats from scratch to make sure they get the freshest, most nutritious meals possible. I recommend her to everyone I know without hesitation. I’ve also dogsat her dogs myself, and they are the sweetest, happiest pups which honestly says everything about the love and care they receive every day. You can leave your dog in her care completely stress-free and actually enjoy your time away knowing they’re being spoiled 🐶
Kaitlyn is a caring, responsible, clean, and dependable pet owner and sitter. She has taken great care of my two cats numerous times, and sends helpful updates without inundating me while I’m enjoying some time away. Anytime she’s stayed with my cats, my space has been immaculate upon arrival. I can’t recommend Kaitlyn enough as a pet sitter!
Kaitlyn is a genuinely amazing dog sitter. She’s cared for our two small dogs in our home many times, and we’d choose her over and over again. Leaving pups behind can be really stressful (especially when working with someone new), but we never have to worry because we know our dogs are safe, happy, enriched, and truly cared for when Kaitlyn is with them. Our dogs adore her, and we love the photos and updates she sends to show us what a great time they’re having together — whether on walks, playing in the yard, with toys inside, or snuggling together. We especially appreciate how well she handles our dogs’ individual needs and personalities, as well as their leash reactivity. She’s very attuned to dog behaviour and communication, and she always walks them thoughtfully and safely without putting them into situations that could trigger stress or reactivity. It gives us such peace of mind. Overall, we trust her completely and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone who will care for their dogs like they’re her own. 🩷

Kaitlyn’s done a wonderful job caring for my dog and cats! She’s very attentive and caring, I absolutely recommend her as a sitter. She sent me lots of updates and I never once questioned that they were in wonderful hands!

Harmonogram
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and already structure my days around caring for animals. My own dogs are a huge part of my everyday life, so walks, outdoor time, feeding schedules, play, cuddles, and supervision are already built into my routine. I’m home often throughout the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, companionship, and care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy creating a calm, cozy environment where animals can relax, feel safe, and settle into a comfortable rhythm. Weekly, I prioritize keeping a clean and pet-friendly home and making sure animals get both mental stimulation and downtime depending on their personality and needs. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more anxious and reserved, I’m attentive to helping them feel comfortable and cared for while they’re with me.
