Before a dog comes to stay, it’s really helpful for me to know about any special needs, routines, or behaviors so I can make them feel completely comfortable. Things like feeding schedules, medications, triggers, or quirks (for example, if they’re nervous around other dogs or scared of loud noises) help me plan the best care. I also like to know their energy level and what kind of activities they enjoy — whether it’s long walks, fetch, or quiet time. My goal is to make their stay feel just like home, with consistency, patience, and lots of love.
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about balance and keeping your dog happy in their own way. We start the day with a walk or some playtime to get energy out, then plenty of time to relax at home — I work from home, so they’re never alone for long. I love mixing in mental stimulation throughout the day, whether it’s puzzle toys, training games, or a good round of fetch in the yard. In the afternoon, we might head out for another walk or some sun in the fenced yard before winding down for a cozy evening. Every dog has their own rhythm, and I make sure their day feels fun, calm, and comfortable.

Animals have been a huge part of my life. I cared for my own dog for 17 wonderful years and have since fostered 24 dogs — from tiny 5-week-old puppies to sweet senior rescues, sometimes two or three at a time. Each one has taught me patience, empathy, and how to adapt care to every personality and energy level. I work from home, so your pets will get plenty of attention, company, and consistency throughout the day. Whether your pup needs long walks, quiet companionship, or a bit of extra care, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home.

It was the first time that I had someone else take care of my four-month old puppy. Normally I might have been very worried and anxious, but Kaitlind made time the day before so we could do a meet and greet at her house. This made me feel comfortable so I had no worries the next day, because I knew Blue would be in good, experienced hands. Kaitlind is very prompt at communicating, replies quickly, and sent pics of their time together. Her house is in a lovely, quiet, homey residential area of Venice where all the neighbors know each other, too.
