Perfect for Dogs with Extra Needs
My husband and I cared for our dog-reactive dog for 11 years before her passing last January. Previously, we also took in my father's chihuahua-dachshund mix when he died and cared for her until she passed at 16 years old. We love meeting the needs of pets. For instance, we've previously laid down rugs so senior dogs could feel comfortable walking on hard surfaces and help them keep their grip when getting up. LGBTQIAS+ friendly.

I have used Kaitlin and Verle’s pet care services twice now and have had an excellent experience both times. They’ve taken great care of my pup and he has come back healthy and happy both times. They have gone the extra mile to care for him when he has had small medical issues as well. Right before my dogs most recent stay with them, I had noticed that my dog had a little cut on his paw pad that seemed very irritated and possibly infected, and upon communicating with the Vet and showing them pictures of the wound, the Vet’s recommendation was to have my dog come in to have the paw pad looked at. I asked Kaitlin and Verle if they were able to take my dog in to the Vet and they were immediately willing to do it. That was an extremely important favor that allowed me to have some peace of mind while I was traveling and know that my dog was receiving the care he needed. I will be forever grateful for that. I highly recommend Kaitlin and Verle to anyone that is looking for high quality pet care for their dog.
I can’t recommend Kaitlin and Verle highly enough! We sent our anxious, escape artist pup Maxine to them for 2 weeks while we were abroad. They took her needs very seriously and sent updates daily. Very empathetic and genuinely sweet people to leave our fur baby with.
I had a last minute need for someone to watch and board my dog-reactive German Shepherd for a few hours while I had cleaners coming to clean my house this sitter was great, extremely communicative, arrived on time and took good care of my animal and I would definitely use their services again.
Such an amazing stay for our fur baby. They’re super caring folks who take wonderful care. Woody enjoyed his stay and I really appreciated their flexibility with a last minute schedule change.

Schedule
We both work from home which gives us a lot of flexibility. We can accommodate various feeding schedules, frequent potty breaks, or unique pickup/dropoff times.

We don't have any other pets and are homebodies. We would love to give that extra time and attention to your beloved pet! Our house also has a large, private, fenced yard which is perfect for a pet who could enjoy the safety of their own private outdoor space.
A typical day
Each dog has its own needs, so we would love to get to know your dog and its needs. Some enjoy puzzle games, some long walks, while others just want to be by your side. We truly believe that owners know their dogs best and look forward to hearing from you about what your dog enjoys.

- Let us know if your dog has any special needs: reactivity, triggers, or special accommodations that are needed. It's also helpful to know any commands that your dog knows. Verle is familiar with common English commands, Kaitlin with some common English and Spanish commands, but we would be happy to learn commands in other languages if you can provide a pronunciation guide.
