Availability
My schedule allows me to be home for most of the day, so I can provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication, and companionship. I am comfortable following detailed routines and can adjust activity and attention based on each pet’s age, energy level, and individual needs. I will always communicate clearly in advance about any periods when your pet may be left alone.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets have access to a large, securely fenced grassy yard, along with nearby parks and walking trails. I can also provide a private room away from my resident cats for pets who need quiet space, gradual introductions, or separation from other animals. I carefully follow each pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and supervision instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and never introduce pets without considering their comfort and safety. I provide regular updates and will promptly contact you if I notice any changes in your pet’s behavior, appetite, mobility, or overall well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their established routine and keep the home and pet areas clean and tidy.

10+ Years of Loving Cat & Dog Care
Pet care experience
I have cared for cats and dogs since I was eight years old, when I began helping neighbors with their pets and plants. Cocker Spaniels were among the first dogs I learned to care for at home, and I have continued caring for pets throughout my life. As a teenager, I began house sitting while caring for homeowners’ pets, and I have provided pet and home care ever since. I have also spent more than five years caring for two special-needs cats of my own. That personal experience has made me especially comfortable with pets who need patience, consistency, medication, or a little extra help adjusting. One of my cats has one eye and some spatial sensitivities. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, she has grown from a very shy cat who hid whenever she could into a confident, playful, and wonderfully talkative companion. I genuinely enjoy taking the time to earn a shy pet’s trust and helping them feel safe. My other cat has diabetes, so I have experience administering insulin injections twice a day and carefully following an established medical routine. I am also comfortable giving pills and liquid medications by syringe to both cats and dogs. I have cared for senior pets, puppies, kittens, and animals with additional needs, and I am attentive to changes in their behavior, appetite, mobility, and comfort. I have cared for dogs with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities—from Chihuahuas, Corgis, Cocker Spaniels, and terriers to high-energy German Shorthaired Pointers and strong, enthusiastic Staffordshire Terriers. I am comfortable adapting my care to each dog’s individual temperament, routine, and activity needs. When pet parents are away, I communicate openly, provide regular updates, and follow each pet’s individual routine and care instructions closely. When needed, I have taken pets to pre-scheduled veterinary appointments while their owners were away and communicated closely with them before and after the visit. During house sits, I am respectful of the home and keep it clean and tidy. I am also happy to help with simple household tasks such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, and vacuuming pet areas.
