I am currently working part-time, so I can fit caring for your pet into my schedule, no problem! I am available all mornings for feedings/general care/walks and I will always be available late into the evenings, as well.

In my own home I have two cats, as well as three bunnies (holland lops) and a hamster. I feed and water my cats daily on schedule, put on their favorite bird videos and play with them throughout the day. I feed my bunnies in the morning and evening, making sure to replenish their endless hay and water as needed, as well. I also scoop and spot clean all of my animals litter boxes daily. (My bunnies are house trained) As far as the hamster goes, I top off his water every morning, he wakes up around 10pm and I feed him accordingly. I am extremely adamant about making sure all of my animals have the best care/schedules to fit their needs and keep them happy! In the event that I need to be caring for your animals at a time I’d be caring for mine, my S/O is home to take care of the animals here.

I just need to know any special hiding places of cats to look out for, especially when medication distribution is needed. As far as dogs go, I’d like to know the best approach for making them comfortable and trusting of me as a new person in their environment.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet will include sweet talk and a loving approach from me first and foremost to ensure comfort. Once that’s established for cats, I will typically sit on the floor with them and find their favorite toys to play with, if they’re not big on toys, I will talk to them and give them all the pets. I do like to provide brushing as well if that’s something they’re okay with! For dogs we will also find a favorite toy and have stimulating play together, when walking I will let the dog explore within means to find new smells/comfortable places to potty. I don’t mind stretching walks a little longer than booked if necessary for enrichment and potty time.

🐾🐾🐾I have several years of experience caring for not only house cats & dogs, but small exotic animals such as reptiles, bunnies and hamsters as well. I have raised house bunnies from ages 0-10 (my oldest is 10 right now) and am familiar with all life stages. I’ve raised cats from tiny kittens to senior age as well. I am well versed in medication distribution and management for animals. I’ve dealt with epilepsy, allergies/GI issues, diabetes (blood drawing too), thyroid and anxiety care in various pets. I have lived with and cared for various breeds and sizes of dogs throughout my adult life as well, some of these include smaller breeds like chihuahuas & yorkie terriers, medium breeds such as bulldogs, pitbulls & collies, and large breeds such as huskies, German shepherds and labs/retrievers. I am a firm believer in spending the extra time (no charge beyond the drop it you paid for!) to get on an animals comfort level and give them space and time to warm up to me comfortably as to make the remainder of the visits feel as safe and comfortable as possible for them. I can’t wait to provide the best care and love to your pets! 🐾🐾🐾

Kaitlin did great with my cat Thora who needs meds every 12 hrs. She was so patient the first night when Thora refused to come out from under the bed. After that, Thora warmed up and came out for pill time.
Kaitlin was wonderful and so sweet woth our furbabies! She's very flexible and accommodating of our older kitty. Both kitties adored her, even the skiddish one! We're so lucky to find a sitter so close to us. Will definitely book again!
