I recently decided to follow my passion for medicine and go back to school to obtain my Veterinary Technician Certification, while also working at a vet clinic as a Veterinary Assistant. This means I will be gone 8-12 hours, so I am only able to watch pets that are okay during the day on their own. I am fully focused on caring for furry friends during bookings during the evenings and overnight though, and will make sure they have enrichment while I am gone during the day.

I always cater to the individual pet and owner preferences, with each stay/drop in/walk being a bit different than the last. But in each scenario, I will always do my best to make sure that your pets are happy, relaxed and loved while you are away. Each time I leave I wish I could stay with my new friends, but I also know they are so happy to have you home!

I would like to know the name of your furry friend along with their age, any medications or health concerns that you want me to be aware of, how they do on walks, and what their favorite games or toys are!
A typical day
Dogs are super active, but also have their unique personalities and preferences. I will always take the time to learn about your dog and then cater the activities I do with them to fit them. Some dogs love going on long walks around Sloans Lake where they can make friends with every person and dog that passes, while others prefer to spend time alone playing fetch in their yard with me. I have years of practice reading animals' behavior and I will adjust our activities accordingly. At the end of the day however, some love and cuddles are guaranteed!

Hi there! I have been caring for pets and homes for many amazing years and have worked with a variety of animals with unique needs and personalities. I am an animal lover at heart! I truly care for other people's pets as if they are my own and as a cat mom myself I know how important it is to have someone you can depend on and trust to care for your fur-babies while you are away. I studied Zoology in college and have worked professionally with animals for the last 10 years. I am back in school to become a Veterinary Technician and am working as a Veterinary Assistant at an emergency hospital. I have experience with animal training and have developed the skill to read animal behavior, allowing me to optimize the comfort of your pet no matter their personality. I have experience with sitting a variety of dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish, and even geckos. I love meeting new friends and would be thrilled to meet your furry friends!
