Dog lover
I grew up with dogs and absolutely love them! I'm that weird person who smiles at every dog I see, I can't help it :) I am currently living across the country from my family (and my parent's 4 dogs) and do not have my own dog right now. I'm new to Rover, but have been dogsitting for years for friends and friends or friends. I will treat each dog like they are my own, making sure they are safe and happy at all times. I am reliable, responsible, and have a flexible schedule since I work from home. I'm also great with big dogs or more hyper dogs, as I grew up with labs and german shepherds. I've also volunteered at several animal shelters throughout my college and post-grad years as being around animals is so fulfilling for me. I can't wait to meet your pup!

Kaitlin was SO good with our dog! She truly treated him like he was her own. She was also super responsive and was great with sending (adorable!) updates. I would highly recommend her to everyone!
It looked like Nola had a fabulous time boarding with Kaitlin! Kaitlin was communicative and took great care of Nola.
Katie is a bona fide Dog Person-she loves them and treats every dog she meets like her own. Katie’s basically my dog Winnie’s godmother (I mean she even walked Winnie down the aisle at my wedding). There is no one I’d trust with my dog more than Katie (ok maybe she’s tied with my husband). In all seriousness, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone better than Katie to take care of your beloved pet. She’s all the things you’d want in someone you’re paying for a service—trustworthy, reliable, competent, on-time—but she’s also just a warm, kind person who loves dogs and they love her back!!!

Schedule
I work from home so am very flexible in adjusting to your dog's schedule. I typically take dogs for a long walk in the morning and one at night, with plenty of potty breaks and shorter walks throughout the day. I love having a pup around on the weekends too!

Safety, trust & environment
I do live in an apartment, but have dogsat here many times. I love taking dogs on long walks and I know that mental stimulation is important as well! I've watched dogs that are crate trained and dogs that don't use one, and am comfortable with both. I am also more than happy to provide lots of updates :)
