Availability
I work from home, so I'm available the majority of the day. If I leave, it's usually only to run a quick errand. During summer, we would not be outside too long unless you request a river play date.

Safety, trust & environment
For dog sitting: I have a large, wooden-fenced yard and one small, male neutered dog. He is very friendly + energetic and loves playing with other dogs. Water is always available and plenty of space for relaxing. For walking and drop-ins: Safety is number one priority. Always leashed up and scanning for potential distractions.

Information Kaitlin H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs like dietary restrictions, medication, and any specific fears he or she has like loud noises, reactive, etc. ***Please note your dog MUST have an active flea medication on record.***
A typical day
Depending on your dog's needs, we can play in the backyard, lounge around inside, go swimming at the river, roller skate on the path (this is especially great for really high-energy dogs!), go to a cafe for an iced coffee (me, not the dog haha), or go for a hike. It really depends on what your needs are. Norman and I love hiking at Purgatory, and we'd love another buddy with us! (In the summer we mostly stay inside in the AC but provide plenty of bathroom breaks.)

Caring and Attentive Dog Care
Pet care experience
Boarding: Hello! My dog, Norman, and I would love to have your beloved fur baby stay with us. I have a large, fenced-in yard with lots of room for playing and running around. I have over 10 years of experience caretaking for pets, and animals are an important part of my life. At this time, I'm only accepting one dog at a time so that I can ensure your pup gets the most care and attention. ***Your dog MUST be on flea meds. I will not take any dog that has fleas. Thanks for understanding.*** We look forward to meeting you! Walking and Drop-ins: I'm attentive & caring, and your dog's safety is my priority. I'll take good care of your pets while you're at work! I'm good at reading and respecting the dog's energy. I know that it can take time to gain a dog's trust, especially as a new person. We can take things slowly if necessary.
Reviews
I have known Kaitlin for over 30 years and she is an avid animal lover. She has owned and cared for both cats and dogs. She will care, cuddle, play, and genuinely enjoy her time spent with your pet. Hire her now and you’ll see what I’m talking about!
I am very picky when it comes to pet sitters and Kaitlin is one of the few people I’ve trusted to watch my animals time and time again. I have a snuggly Corgi that it is a velcro dog and a high energy husky. Kaitlin does a great job catering to the specific needs of my dogs personalities and they are always so excited when Kaitlin is the one to watch them. Can’t recommend Kaitlin enough.
