Your dog’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are my top priorities. Dogs in my care enjoy a secure, fully fenced yard and share their stay with three friendly, well-socialized resident dogs who love to play. All dogs are closely supervised at all times. To maintain a safe, low-stress environment, I only accept dog-friendly dogs who are comfortable interacting with others. Mealtime, Rest & Safety Practices To reduce stress and prevent conflict, all dogs are fed individually in shipping-style crates, which provide increased privacy and help minimize resource guarding and food-related anxiety. Dogs who need additional privacy during meals have a crate cover placed over the front to create a calm, enclosed space. After meals, all dogs participate in a minimum one-hour rest period to support digestion and help reduce the risk of bloat. To prevent rushing or overstimulation, dogs are moved one or two at a time when entering or exiting crates and doorways. For safety, all food, treats, and personal belongings are stored in a separate room that dogs do not have access to. Rest & Overnight Accommodations Crating is used only when it supports a dog’s comfort and safety. Dogs who do not require crating overnight or for whom crating would cause additional stress are settled in separate gated rooms, allowing them a quiet, secure place to sleep without feeling confined. This approach creates a closer to home-like, comforting environment while still maintaining structure and safety for every dog in my care.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs in our care, we require the following: • All dogs must be dog-friendly. This ensures a positive, low-stress environment for everyone. • Health & dietary information: Please let us know about any food sensitivities, allergies, or special diets, as well as any medications your dog requires while in our care, with clear directions for administration. • Behavioral considerations: If your dog has food aggression, barrier aggression, or other behavioral concerns, please inform us so we can provide appropriate supervision and maintain a safe environment during meals and play. • Mealtime & overnight care: All dogs are fed individually in crates or kenneled for meals, and crated or separated as needed overnight for safety and stress reduction. Dogs who do not require overnight crating or for whom crating would cause stress are provided a safe, gated space with a comfortable resting area. This information allows us to tailor care to each dog’s needs, maintain a calm and safe environment, and give you peace of mind while you’re away. Emergency Contact Information 🐾 For families who may be traveling to areas where communication is limited — such as cruises, international trips, remote mountain locations, or areas with spotty cell service — we ask that you provide an additional emergency contact. This ensures that, in the unlikely event we need to reach someone regarding your pet’s care, we have a reliable way to communicate and can make timely decisions for your dog’s safety and well-being. We recommend a friend, family member, or neighbor who can be reached if you are unavailable. This contact should be aware of your dog’s care routine, dietary needs, and any medical considerations. Communication & Updates 🐾 I provide regular updates to keep you informed about your dog’s stay: • First-time dogs typically receive daily updates • Regular dogs generally receive updates every other day, unless otherwise requested I focus on giving my full attention to the dogs in my care, and I firmly believe that no news is good news. In the rare event something unexpected occurs, I handle the situation immediately and contact you as soon as it is safe to do so. For example, if a behavioral incident or minor conflict occurs during a walk or playtime, I ensure your dog’s safety first, then reach out to you once the situation is fully managed. This approach ensures your pet remains safe while keeping you informed in a timely and responsible manner.

A Typical Day with Fulton Pet Care 🐾 Dogs in my care follow a consistent, low-stress daily rhythm that balances structure with choice. While each dog’s individual needs are respected, this routine helps create a calm, predictable, home-like environment. Morning • First potty break shortly after waking • Breakfast served individually in crates, followed by a calm rest period • Second potty break, then dogs choose whether they’d like to relax inside or enjoy time in the fenced backyard Midday • Free movement between indoor and outdoor spaces, based on each dog’s preference • A natural rest/nap period late morning (often led by senior dogs), allowing everyone to reset and relax • During these calm periods, if a dog is having difficulty settling or becomes overstimulated, they may be temporarily redirected to the backyard, a crate, or a gated area with appropriate enrichment. This keeps the group peaceful while providing that dog with additional mental stimulation or space to decompress. • Once awake, dogs return to indoor or outdoor time, whichever they prefer Afternoon & Evening • Continued supervised play, relaxation, and choice-based indoor/outdoor time • Dinner served around 5:30–6:00 PM, followed by a required rest period to support digestion • Evening potty break, then relaxed time inside or outside Night Routine • Indoor water is picked up around 8:00–8:30 PM to help prevent overnight accidents, especially for puppies and seniors • Final potty break around 9:30 PM • Dogs settle in for the night in their designated sleep spaces • If a dog needs to go out during the night, they are taken out (this is rare due to the structured evening routine) • Dogs with medical conditions or medications that require continuous access to water (such as diabetes) will always have water available overnight Enrichment & Exercise Dogs are free to play throughout the house and backyard. If anyone still has extra energy in the evening, they may enjoy a walk or additional mental enrichment to ensure they are relaxed and ready for bedtime. Mental enrichment options include: • Puzzle toys • Lick mats • Snuffle mats • Other appropriate enrichment activities I am happy to reinforce training cues or routines you are currently working on, as long as they align with safe, humane handling practices.

Kaitlin was always giving updates and tips for Mochi.

Kaitlin is such a joy and I'm grateful that she has been able to care for Bailey while we're away. Kaitlin is attentive and provides a safe, mentally and physically stimulating environment for Bailey.

Working with Kaitlin was great. She communicated well, including messages and pictures to let us know how Luna was doing. Would definitely book again!

Kaitlin was amazing with our puppy! It was Muffin’s first day ever away from her family and she did great. We will definitely use Kaitlin again in the future:)
