Kaitlin’s Cat Sitting
My name is Kaitlin. I’m a veterinary nursing student at SRUC, Scotland’s Rural College. I have been a loyal volunteer of a cat shelter, Catflap for three years, so I have lots of experience with all different species of cats. I have had cats for all of my life and currently have three of my own cats, one being a Scottish Fold so I have experience with pedigree mogs as well. I also have my old girl Molly, and the baby of the household, Nala so I have experience with old and young cats! [I charge £10 a visit, not £12 as it may say on my profile. You will only pay £10.]

Safety, trust & environment
I treat your cats just like I would my own. I believe in listening to the animal and listen to what their behaviour suggests. I would never push an animal beyond its boundaries, if it doesn’t want to say hi, that’s okay! I am there to make sure they are safe, happy and well, and cuddles are always on offer if they fancy.

It was the first time I had used a cat sitter but Kaitlin was great and sent me pictures of Iris with updates of how she was doing which was very welcome. I would definitely recommend Kaitlin!
Kaitlin was everything we hoped for from a cat sitter. Clearly loves what she does. This was evident with all the messages and pictures of Loki, and also showing concern when she hadn't saw him on a couple of her visits. No panic though, as he decided to change up his routine just for fun! I would have no hesitation in booking Kaitlin again. Absolute star!

Kaitlin was amazing with our shy girl when we were away for 8 days. She came to meet her beforehand, and was very great with keeping in touch while we were away and sending lots of photographs each day. She even managed to get our girl to eat some treats from her hand as she is usually very shy and a bit antisocial with new people! Will definitely use Kaitlin again and would recommend her to anyone.
Kaitlin took lovely care of our cats and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She kept us updated daily with pics and we came home to two happy cats.
We booked Kaitlin to look after our cats while we were away and she did a stellar job. I didn’t think she would see the cats as they are wary of strangers, but Kaitlin was able to find them in the house and get some great photos for me, so I knew they were safe. Kaitlin stayed in constant touch with me and was really great. Will book her again ☺️

Schedule
I currently have weekdays and weekends free to care for your cats. If a longer visit is needed, don’t hesitate to message me and let me know.
- Catskaitlin can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Every cat is different. Of course, I will provide the basics, but any special routines or treats that need giving, any particular behaviours I need to be aware of, please let me know in advance.
